Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before booking or taking part in any course with Nu-Care Hub Learning ("Nu-Care Hub", "we", "us", "our"). By booking a course, creating an account, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us
1.1 Nu-Care Hub Learning provides healthcare education and training courses, delivered online (live and/or self-paced) and face-to-face, primarily for students, junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

2. Definitions
- "Course" means any training course, masterclass, webinar, or learning programme offered by Nu-Care Hub, whether delivered live online, face-to-face, or as self-paced learning materials.
- "Learner", "you" means the person booking or attending a Course.
- "Course Materials" means all slides, documents, videos, assessments, and other content provided as part of a Course.
- "Certificate" means the certificate of completion or attendance issued after a Course.
3. Eligibility and Registration
3.1 Our Courses are designed for healthcare students and professionals. Some Courses may have specific entry requirements (for example, professional registration or a minimum level of training), which will be stated on the relevant Course page. It is your responsibility to check that a Course is suitable for you before booking.
3.2 You must be at least 18 years old to book a Course.
3.3 You agree that the information you provide when registering is accurate and complete, and that you will keep it up to date.
3.4 Where you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Accounts and Course access are personal to you and must not be shared.
4. Bookings and Payment
4.1 All bookings are made through our website or by contacting us directly. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us and payment has been received in full (or an agreed payment plan is in place).
4.2 Prices are as displayed on our website at the time of booking and are in pounds sterling (GBP). [Prices include / exclude VAT — confirm as applicable.]
4.3 We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a Course has been listed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before proceeding and offer the option to confirm at the correct price or cancel with a full refund.
4.4 Discount codes and early-bird prices apply only within their stated validity period and cannot be applied retrospectively.
4.5 For group or employer-funded bookings, the organisation making the booking is responsible for payment and for ensuring each named Learner accepts these Terms.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, and receive a full refund, except as set out below:
(a) Self-paced / digital Courses: if you request immediate access to digital Course Materials, you acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel once you begin accessing the content.
(b) Live Courses starting within the cooling-off period: if you book a live Course that takes place within 14 days of booking, you request that the service begins within the cooling-off period. If you cancel after the Course has taken place, no refund is due; if you cancel before it takes place, we may deduct a proportionate amount for any services already provided.
Your consent and acknowledgment under (a) and (b) will be requested at checkout before purchase is completed.
To exercise your right to cancel, you may use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, or make any other clear statement of your decision to cancel (for example, by email.
5.2 Cancellation outside the cooling-off period
For live online and face-to-face Courses, the following applies after the 14-day cooling-off period:
- More than [14] days before the Course date: full refund or free transfer to another date.
- [7–14] days before the Course date: [50]% refund, or free transfer to another date.
- Less than [7] days before the Course date, or non-attendance: no refund. Transfers may be offered at our discretion and may incur an administration fee of [£X].
5.3 Cancellation or changes by us
We may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule a Course (for example, due to tutor illness or insufficient enrolment). If we do:
(a) we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible;
(b) you may choose a full refund or a free transfer to an alternative date; and
(c) our liability is limited to the Course fee paid. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs you may incur, and we recommend you do not book non-refundable travel until a Course is confirmed.
5.4 To cancel, email us at admin@nu-carehub.com with your name, booking reference, and Course details. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days.
6. Course Delivery
6.1 We will deliver each Course with reasonable skill and care, substantially as described on the relevant Course page. We may make reasonable changes to Course content, tutors, timings, or platform where this does not materially change the Course.
6.2 Live online Courses are delivered via [Zoom / Microsoft Teams / platform]. You are responsible for having a suitable device, reliable internet connection, and any required software. Technical failures on your side do not entitle you to a refund, though we will try to help where we reasonably can.
6.3 Face-to-face Courses take place at the venue stated in your booking confirmation. You must comply with venue rules and any health and safety instructions given by our staff.
6.4 Self-paced Courses are accessible for [12 months] from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. We may withdraw or update self-paced content, but will give reasonable notice before removing access to a Course you have purchased.
6.5 Attendance requirements, assessments (such as case scenario assessments), and completion criteria are described on each Course page. Certificates are issued only when the stated completion criteria are met.
6.6 Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where you purchase as a consumer: (a) we will provide Courses (as services) with reasonable care and skill; (b) any digital Course content will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described; and (c) if we fail to meet these standards you may be entitled to a repeat performance, repair or replacement of digital content, or a price reduction, in accordance with that Act. Nothing in these Terms limits these rights.
7. Certificates and CPD
7.1 On successful completion of a Course, you will receive a certificate of completion or attendance. Where stated, Courses are CPD accredited and the Certificate may be used as evidence of continuing professional development.
7.2 Important: our Courses and Certificates provide training and education. They do not, by themselves, confer a professional qualification, licence, registration, or the legal right to perform any clinical procedure or role. Your scope of practice remains governed by your professional registration, your regulator (e.g. GMC, NMC, HCPC), your employer's policies, and applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that any skill learned on a Course is applied only within your own competence and scope of practice, and with any workplace sign-off your employer requires.
7.3 Certificates for assessed Courses are normally issued within [7] days of successful completion of the assessment.
8. Learner Conduct
8.1 You agree to behave professionally and respectfully towards tutors, staff, and other learners. We may remove any Learner from a Course, without refund, for abusive, discriminatory, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour, or for academic misconduct (including plagiarism or having someone else complete an assessment on your behalf).
8.2 Recording of live Courses (audio, video, or screenshots) is not permitted without our prior written consent. Where clinical case material is discussed, you must treat it as confidential and must not share it outside the Course.
8.3 Where a Course involves practical skills training with fellow learners, participation is voluntary and you must disclose any relevant health condition that could make participation unsafe for you.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All Course Materials are the intellectual property of Nu-Care Hub Learning or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Course Materials for your own learning and professional development.
9.2 You must not copy, share, sell, publish, or use Course Materials to deliver training to others without our prior written consent.
10. Educational Content Disclaimer
10.1 Course content is provided for education and training purposes. It does not constitute clinical, medical, or legal advice for any specific patient or situation, and must not replace your own professional judgement, local policies, or current national guidance.
10.2 While we take care to keep content evidence-based and aligned with current UK guidance, healthcare guidance changes. You are responsible for checking current guidance before applying learning in practice.
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with any Course is limited to the fees you paid for that Course.
11.3 Subject to clause 11.1, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or costs incurred in connection with attending a Course (such as travel or accommodation).
11.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Data Protection
12.1 We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as described in our Privacy Policy [link].
12.2 Feedback and testimonials you provide may be published on our website or marketing materials only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting us.
13. Complaints
13.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of a Course, please contact us at [EMAIL] within [14] days of the Course. We aim to acknowledge complaints within [2] working days and respond fully within [14] days.
13.2 If we cannot resolve your complaint through our internal process, we will tell you whether we are willing to use an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider and, if so, provide their details. You may also seek advice from Citizens Advice or Trading Standards, and nothing prevents you from bringing a claim in court.
14. General
14.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
14.2 If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
14.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
